Deleting Your Account

This page explains how to delete your account, what happens when you do, and how to send a request if you cannot sign in.

Before you delete

If it is only the emails and notifications that bother you, you can turn them off without deleting your account: Account Settings (sign-in required)
If you just want a break, signing out is enough. Your account and chats stay as they are, and you can come back whenever you like.

Sign in to your account.
Open this page: Account Settings (sign-in required)
Press the “Delete My Account” button at the bottom of the page. In the dialog that opens, type the confirmation phrase and wait for the short countdown to finish.

Access to your account is closed immediately and your session is ended.
If you have a subscription, its automatic renewal is stopped.
Your phone and app notification registrations are deleted.
Your roleplay comments and studio drafts are deleted.
Your profile and the "Made by" credit on characters are removed; the characters you created stay. Even if you restore your account, your profile, profile picture and follows don't come back; your rank, badges and statistics are reset.
Your invite code is closed and your invite balance is forfeited.
If you try to sign in with the same email address within 30 days, you will be offered the option to restore your account; your chat history is kept during this period.
After 30 days, access to the account with this email address is permanently closed.

If you cannot sign in to your account, you can send your deletion request by email to: [email protected]

If possible, write from the email address registered to your account so that we can verify the request is yours.
