Cookie Notice

Last updated: 9/26/2026· v7

Last Revised: September 26, 2026

This Cookie Notice ("Notice") is designed to help visitors and users understand how and why we use cookies and other tracking technologies ("Cookies") on https://fanchaty.ai/ and any other affiliated websites to which users may be directed from our platform (collectively, the "Services").

Fanchaty AI LTD ("Fanchaty AI," "we," "us," or "our") acts as the Data Controller for the data processing implemented through the Services. We are a company duly incorporated in the United Kingdom, registered under Company Number 16983888, with our registered address at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

In this Cookie Notice, "you" and "your" refer to you as the user of the Services.

1. What are Cookies? Cookies are small text files that are placed and stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or use a mobile app. They help websites recognize your device and remember information about your visit, preferences, and actions.

2. Information We Collect Through Automated Technologies As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use Cookies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns. This information may include details of your visits to the Services (including traffic data, location data, logs, and the resources that you access) and information about your device and internet connection (including your IP address, operating system, and browser type).

We may also use Cookies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services. This helps us to improve our Services and to deliver a better and more personalized experience by enabling us to:

  • Estimate our audience size and usage patterns.

  • Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our Services according to your individual interests.

  • Recognize you when you return to our Services.

We may tie the information we collect automatically to personal data about you that we collect from other sources or that you provide to us.

3. Types of Cookies We Use The information provided here is for general reference. We use Cookies for various essential and functional reasons. "Essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies enable core features of the Services. "Analytical" or "performance" cookies monitor how the Services are used and perform. Cookies may be set by us or by a third party through our Services:

  • First-Party Cookies: Cookies set by us or by a third party at our direct request.

  • Third-Party Cookies: Cookies set by a party other than the Service provider.

  • Social Media Cookies: Cookies set by social web platforms (e.g., the Facebook "Like" button) that allow you to share our content and interact. If you consent, these platforms may track your browsing activity and build a profile of your interests.

A current list of the cookies used on Fanchaty.ai, along with their descriptions and retention periods, can be found in the cookie consent banner on our website.

  • Strictly Necessary and Functionality Cookies: These are required for the proper operation of our Services. They enable you to navigate the site, use secure areas, remember your preferences (such as username, language, or region), and provide enhanced, more personal features. These cookies generally do not store personally identifiable data.

  • Functional on-device storage (strictly necessary): The following three items are not technically cookies; they are kept in your browser's storage, are never sent to our servers and do not depend on analytics consent, because they only make the site work the way you asked. fc_kurulum_v1 (local storage, localStorage) — remembers on which day the "Install the app" suggestion was last shown, how many times you dismissed it, whether the app is installed on this device and, if you are signed in, whether the app is known to be installed on a device of the same type (iPhone or Android) linked to your account; to show the suggestion at the right time it also counts on how many different days you have visited the site and how many of your messages were answered that day. You can remove it by clearing your browser's site data. Showing the suggestion, tapping its button or dismissing it is a separate matter: these are recorded on our servers as installation statistics only if you have allowed analytics cookies, together with the random device identifier described below (fc_cihaz) and, if you are signed in, linked to your account. fc_google_baglama (session storage, sessionStorage) — a short-lived marker written when you link your Google account from your account settings, so that we can tell you if the linking did not complete. It contains only the time the linking started, is deleted when you come back from Google, is treated as valid for at most 10 minutes and is removed by your browser when you close the tab. fc_push_durum_v1 (session storage, sessionStorage) — when you are logged in to the installed app, a marker that remembers that the app opening and the notification status have already been checked that day; it contains only that day's date and is removed by your browser when you close the app or the tab.

  • Background file and phone notifications (functional, strictly necessary): The site registers a small background file (service worker, sw.js) in your browser. It only handles page navigations: if you are offline, it shows an offline page that was stored in advance in your browser's cache (Cache Storage); page contents, your chats and images are not cached. If you have turned on phone notifications, this file also displays them. When you turn notifications on, your browser creates and stores a notification subscription (push subscription) for that device; this subscription is created only if you give permission, and it is also sent to our servers so that we can send you notifications (it is stored there encrypted; details: section 4.10 of our Privacy Policy). These are needed for the site and for the notifications you chose to turn on to work; they are treated as functional and do not depend on analytics consent. You can turn notifications off in your account settings or your phone's settings, and remove the background file by clearing your browser's site data.

  • Refer & Earn cookies: When you click a referral link we keep a signed referral cookie so we can recognise who invited you. This cookie is subject to your consent: if you do not accept it in the cookie banner it is not set — you can then enter the referral code manually when you sign up. We also use a device recognition cookie to prevent self-referral and reward farming with multiple accounts; that cookie is classified as necessary for fraud prevention. Neither cookie can be read by page scripts (httpOnly) and neither is used for advertising.

Analytical/Performance Cookies: These are used to analyze how visitors use our Services and to monitor website performance (e.g., using Google Analytics to collect information about your online activity).

Web app measurement (analytics): When you open the site as an installed app (from its icon on your home screen or desktop, including on Android or iPhone), when you install the app from your browser, or when an "Install the app" suggestion is shown to you in the browser or you use it — and only if you have allowed analytics cookies in the cookie banner — the following are written to your browser's local storage (localStorage): fc_cihaz — a random 128-bit device identifier that is not derived from your device (it may also be created in a browser tab); only when the site is opened as an app, a daily marker starting with fc_webapp_acilis that shows the app opening has already been recorded that day; and, when the app is installed, an install marker, fc_webapp_yuklendi. These are not technically cookies, but they depend on the same consent as analytics cookies. If you withdraw analytics consent, fc_cihaz is deleted and recording stops. The information kept on our servers with this identifier, its link to your account and its retention periods are described in section 4.9 of our Privacy Policy.

  • Targeting/Advertising Cookies: These are used to deliver content that is more relevant to you and your interests. They may be used by third-party companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on other sites.

  • Joint Controllership (Meta Ireland): For certain targeting cookies and data processing, Fanchaty AI and specific partners are considered Joint Data Controllers under Article 26 of the GDPR. Regarding the processing of Personal Data by Meta Ireland, the legal bases relied upon, and how Data Subject rights can be exercised (pursuant to GDPR Art. 13(1)(a) and (b)), please refer to Meta Ireland's Privacy Policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy. It is agreed that we are responsible for providing this informational notice, while Meta Ireland is responsible for enabling data subject rights regarding the data stored as a result of our joint processing.

4. Your Consent When you first visit our Service, a banner will appear requesting your consent to place non-essential Cookies on your device. You can choose to accept or reject specific categories of Cookies, or continue browsing without making a selection (which defaults to rejecting non-essential cookies). You can manage your preferences through the consent management tool on our website or your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain Cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

5. Cookie Retention Period The cookies we use are either "session cookies," which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies," which remain on your device for a specific period or until you manually delete them. Collected data is retained in compliance with applicable laws and only for as long as necessary for the described purposes.

6. Sharing Data with Third Parties Certain cookies may be set by third parties such as Google Analytics or advertising partners. These third parties may collect and process the information for their own purposes. We recommend reviewing the respective Privacy Policies of these providers for further information on their practices.

7. User Rights You have the following rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR:

  • To request access to your personal data.

  • To request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data.

  • To request the erasure of your data when we no longer have a legal basis to process it.

  • To object to processing based on our legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.

  • To request the restriction of processing to verify data accuracy or grounds for processing.

  • To request the portability of your data processed by automated means based on consent or a contract.

If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected] If you have concerns about how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK); however, we kindly request that you attempt to resolve any issues with us directly first.

8. How to Delete Cookies or Withdraw Consent You can control cookies and withdraw your consent in several ways:

  • By using the Cookie Banner presented on your first visit or the "Consent Management / Cookie Settings" link located in the footer of our website.

  • By deleting or blocking cookies through your web browser's privacy or settings menu.

  • By configuring Google Analytics settings via Google's own pages (http://www.google.com/analytics/tos.html or Google Ad Settings).

  • By visiting http://www.aboutads.info/choices or, if you are located in Europe, http://www.youronlinechoices.eu, to opt out of tracking by participating online advertisers.

  • By reviewing https://www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies/ for general information on managing cookies.

9. Changes to this Notice We may update our Cookie Notice to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will publish the most current version on our Service, indicating the "Last Revised" date. If the changes are significant, we will notify you before they take effect.

10. Contact Information If you have any questions regarding this Cookie Notice or require further clarification, please contact us at [email protected] or through the "Contact Us" section on our Services.
