Turkish AI Voice Calls
On Fanchaty you can talk to an AI character in real-time Turkish, just like a phone call. The character listens while you speak, and you can interrupt it mid-sentence. Voice calling is Premium-only and runs in the browser — no app install required.
How it works
You start a call from a character's profile or from the chat screen. The browser asks for microphone access, and the call opens once you allow it.
- Full-duplex: both sides share the audio channel at once — it is not a turn-based message system.
- Interruptible: cut in while the character is speaking and it stops to listen.
- Turkish-native: because characters are authored in Turkish, the speech does not route through translation.
- Browser-based: phone or desktop, with no installation.
How is this different from voice messaging?
The common approach is turn-taking with recordings: you record, you send, the character generates a reply, you listen. That is voice messaging, not a conversation.
A Fanchaty call behaves like an open line. Pauses, interruptions and natural pacing are preserved, which makes it feel like a conversation rather than an exchange of clips.

FAQ
Is the voice call real-time, or is it voice messaging?
Real-time. You talk to the character like a phone call: it listens while you speak, and you can cut in while it is speaking. There is no recording-and-waiting.
Can I interrupt the character?
Yes. If you start speaking mid-sentence, the character stops and listens — just like a real conversation. This is called full-duplex calling.
Are voice calls free?
No, voice calling is a Premium-only feature. Free accounts can use text chat with a daily message allowance.
Do the characters speak Turkish?
Yes. Because the characters are authored directly in Turkish, they speak Turkish on calls as well — nothing is translated from English.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Voice calling runs in the browser. Start a call from fanchaty.ai on a phone or computer by granting microphone access.
